The pagoda was built in the late XVIII century. Ho Chi Minh Zen monk in Quang Ngai entered the monastery to restore the pagoda in 1895 and 1910. The pagoda continued to be restored and expanded during the period of Venerable Khanh Anh from 1939 and Venerable Thien Hoa from 1961 to 1972. In 1972, Venerable Thich Thien Hoa passed away and Venerable Thich Hoan Phu built Thien Hoa tower, worshiping his spirit. Da Bao Tower was built in 1966, consisting of three floors. The upper floor worshiped the Buddha statue to enter nirvana and Buddha's relics. The middle of the worship of Dharma Bao (a set of Dharma States) Downstairs: In the east, worship Khanh Anh spirit, in the south, worship Thich Quang Duc spirit, in the West worship Linh Hoa ancestor, in the north worship the spirit of Hue Quang, the center of the Buddha's land in eight Buddhas accumulated India.
